Hailing from the Netherlands, Mieke relocated to New Zealand in 2010 with her hubby, Joris. They initially settled in Wellington where Mieke put her master’s degree in social science to work. 

She helped companies identify their customer journey and build well-informed marketing strategies that nurture the seed and cultivate brand advocacy for high customer retention rates and lifetime value.

A Google-certified Digital Marketer, Mieke has worked with various businesses ranging from emerging start-ups to established firms making pivotal changes with their marketing.

Always posing inquisitive questions to learn about clients and their customers, Mieke avoids preconceptions about customer behaviour and chooses data over assumption.

These days, Mieke and Joris live close to the beach with their primary school-aged son, Ollie, and their pet rabbit, Midnight. Location is key for the Rotteveel whanau, as they are water babies, keen on surfing, skim boarding, and lapping up the swimming pool. All except for Midnight, of course!
